Party Trailer Information and Reservation

Party Trailer Information and Reservations

The North Central Region of NC (Cullom, Flat River, North Roanoke, and Tar River Baptist Associations) in partnership with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina is now the proud owner of a party trailer.  Representatives from each association have joined with other leaders in purchasing and equipping an 18 ft. trailer for use of the churches within these associations. Check back often to see if updated information about the use of the party trailer has been added.

******************************************************************************

Please note: The party trailer is not a trailer that can be "worked from" like a concession stand. It is used to haul and store the items listed below. To pull the trailer, a 2 and 5/16 ball is required.

Some of the items in the trailer include:

  • 8 ounce popcorn popper
  • Sno cone machine
  • Cotton candy machine
  • 4 – 6 ft tables
  • A canopy
  • A 12 ft parachute and game book
  • Hotdog Steamer and Bun Warmer
  • A 13 x 13 inflatable bounce house and blower fan
  • A 6 ft inflatable slide and blower fan
  • Double burner
  • First Aid Kit
  • Hand truck, dollies, generator, extension cords, and more

All you will have to purchase are the consumable items, such as syrup, popcorn, hotdogs, Bibles, gospel tracts, etc.

The party trailer will be perfect for community block parties, festivals/fairs, VBS, and/or other church/community events. But as you will see in the party trailer policies, it is not for use of individual church members, only for congregational sponsored events and/or activities.

Reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be taken up to six months in advance. Reservations must be made by contacting Tar River Baptist Association at tarriverbaptist@hotmail.com, telephone 919-496-7172; or by mail North Central Region Party Trailer, 92 NC 56 Hwy E, Louisburg, NC 27549. Your Associational Center has copies of the policies and procedures, which need to be read thoroughly before the trailer’s use. HOWEVER, reservations can only be made for use as listed above and will only be confirmed when the non-refundable contribution and the application are received.

There will be a non-refundable $100 contribution (per three consecutive days or less) for maintenance of the party trailer for each event. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the contribution and the application. You will note that it would cost more than that to rent any one piece of the included equipment. The contributions will be used to pay for insurance on the trailer and contents, upkeep, and additions to the equipment, as funds are available.

The Baptist State Convention of North Carolina and your local association have invested a great deal of time and money in this party trailer. Why? You might ask. It is simply to assist, encourage, and make it as easy as possible for you to minister and serve your community

Begin now planning ways you can put it to good use.

Application:  Please remember that the use of the trailer is on a first-come, first serve basis.  Merely making application does not guarantee use of the party trailer on the desired dates.  Our notification that the dates are available does not confirm your reservation.  Member churches MUST follow through with the application and contribution process within two weeks of the date availability notice or the dates could be offered to the next church on the list.  Please note--The North Central Region has NO staff and we cannot call or email you that you have not completed your reservation process.

Certificate of Training:  The state of North Carolina requires some degree of training before persons can use the inflatables on the party trailer.  At least one trained person must be with the inflatables at all times. That is why it is suggested that churches have more than one person trained. Contact your associational center for training. Training must be done within the year the party trailer is used and must be repeated each year.

The North Central Region does not provide supplies (popcorn, syrup, etc.) for the event -  only the equipment. The supplies list is updated as churches share where they made purchases of the necessary items.

It is important to read thoroughly the following forms prior to making application for use of the trailer.
